HOW TO CONFIGURE Fring

1. On your Android phone, go to Settings > Applications and check the box to allow "unknown sources".

2. Point your phone browser to m.fring.com and download fring manually.
3. After installation, if you already have a fring account, login to fring.  Otherwise register to fring:

Select your fring user-ID and password and input them in the provided fields.  Note: Passwords must be at least 4 characters long.

Input your full name in order to help your friends identify you. It will be displayed in your buddies’ contact list.
Click Next.

Input your phone number (international format) if desired for your friends to be able to find you in the fring network.

Input your email address if desired for password retrieval purpose.

Read the User License Agreement by clicking the 'User license' link. By clicking Done you agree to the user license.

4. Configure the SIP Service:

Press the 'Menu' button and choose "Add-ons"'.

From the 'Add-ons' screen choose "SIP"'.

Enter SIP User-ID = your SIP Username, SIP password = your SIP Password, proxy server address = your  SIP Domain.

Click Login.

5. Once logged in, you can make outgoing calls:

On the contact list, press the "Menu" button and select the "Dialer".

Input the phone number you want to call beginning with the country code.

Click SIP.

You can see the call progress on the screen.

To end the call press End Call.
